Due to the number of submissions being submitted please allow up to a few weeks for a response. We greatly appreciate your understanding, and patience in this process. Most submissions will be responded within a few days. Thank you!

CURRENTLY HALO IS NO LONGER TAKING ON NEW CLIENTS.  To try and keep it fair to the people who are invested in larger scale work, Halo only books about 3 to 4 months at a time.  Please follow him on social media to see when he posts about taking appointments again.

HOW DO I GET TATTOOED BY HALO?

To start the process you must first go to the contact section of Halo’s website, www.tattoosbyhalo.com, READ THE PAGE IN IT'S ENTIRETY, and submit your idea via the Tattoo Request Submission Form on my page. Please be VERY thorough when describing your ideas, body placement, and size.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Halo will then review the requests that he receives and determine based on your email which projects he is interested in taking on. Due to the overwhelming amount of requests that Halo receives, there is no way for him to be able respond to every request nor to take on every project that is presented to him. In order to continue the growth and evolution of his art, he is looking for projects that spark immediate interest and inspiration. If your idea triggers his interest, we will call you to gather more information about your idea.

IS THERE A WAY TO INCREASE MY CHANCES OF BEING TATTOOED BY HALO?

Yes. Halo normally takes on a project with fewer restrictions on design and body placement before he chooses something that has very set in stone parameters. Bringing him a great idea will get you noticed quicker than things that must be done a certain way in the tattoo. Larger themed projects and tattoos on clean skin normally receive scheduling priority. Lastly, Halo is looking for clients that are dedicated enough to put forth the time and financial investment that is necessary for them to receive the best possible tattoo.

WHAT IF HALO CHOOSES NOT TO TAKE ON MY PROJECT?

Halo has handpicked a studio full of amazing  artists. You can view the portfolios of his coworkers at www.blacklotustattoos.com. If Halo thinks the project is suited well for someone he knows, he may respond to your email with a referral of an artist that would better be suited for the project requested.

HOW MUCH DOES HALO CHARGE?

Pricing may vary depending on the project. The majority of projects that he takes on are tattoos that cannot be finished in one session. To schedule a project you must be able to travel to Hanover, MDand have a full day appointment at least every other month. Halo's hourly rate is $200/hour, but does also offer a full day rate for large scale projects.

TRAVELING TO HALO'S STUDIO IN HANOVER, MD:

HOW MUCH OF A DEPOSIT DOES HALO REQUIRE?

Deposits vary depending on the tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from the last session of your tattoo.

ARE THERE ANY STYLES OF TATTOO THAT HALO WON’T DO?

Please review Halo’s portfolio before submitting a request for a tattoo. Halo takes on projects for realism, portrait tattoos, and Halo's own artwork.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

All sketches will be drawn during your appointment time or drawn directly on the skin and will not be available for viewing before your scheduled appointment date. This ensures that the tattoo idea is fresh in the mind and can be adapted to fit the client's body seamlessly.

PLEASE NOTE: As much as Halo would love to tattoo each and every person, with the number of submissions received, and current works in progress he is unable to tattoo everyone. Filling out a tattoo request submission form does NOT guarantee you will be tattooed by Halo. He has hand selected a team of the highest quality tattoo artists to assist in the wide range of tattoo styles he may not be able to accommodate.
